GIGI HADID: One of today's most successful supermodels

Everybody talks about her. Everybody sees her face in many campaigns. Everybody knows who is that handsome blonde girl. Yes, today we will talk about one of the most successful models of the present; Gigi Hadid.

Gigi was born on 23 April 1995 as Jelena Noura Hadid. Her parents, famous model and television personality Yolanda Hadid and real estate entrepreneur Mohamed Hadid gave Gigi super prerequisites for becoming a famous model (same thing was happened her youngest sister Bella Hadid and brother Anwar Hadid - they're both working in a fashion industry). 

Before she started doin' modeling career, she studied Criminal psychology at The New School. But she suspended her studies in 2013 to focus on her modeling career. Her first job was for Guess Kids where she started in two years. During her teens she shot some photoshoots for Guess brand, but it was nothing big and special.

The breakthrough in her career came after she moved to New York and signed a contract with famous modeling agency IMG Models. Her debut at the New York Fashion Week 2014 for Desigual was rated positively and people wanted to see her in another fashion shows.

Another milestone came after she became Maybelline's ambassador in 2015. During this year, she has walked for brands like Marc Jacobs, Chanel, Michael Kors, Jean Paul Gautier and Max Mara. And of course, she visited famous Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Gigi has appeared on magazine covers including Vogue (United States, Paris, Italy, Britain, Japan, Spain, Australia, Brazil, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, China), Schön!, Numéro, Allure, W Magazine and Teen Vogue as well as WSJ Magazine, Elle Canada, Dazed and Harper's Bazaar (USA, Malaysia). 

Next year; 2016 was Gigi's year, because she was absolutely everywhere. She has walked for Versace, Chanel, Elie Saab, Fendi, Marc Jacobs, Anna Sui, Miu Miu, Balmain, Diane Von Furstenberg, Tommy Hilfiger, Fenty x Puma, Isabel Marant, and Giambattista Valli. She became the global brand abassador for Tommy Hilfiger and ambassador for Reebok. Gigi starred in an interactive campaign including a commercial for the BMW M2. She created a shoe collection in collaboration with Stuart Weitzman. She made her second appearance in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, earning her wings for the first time and in the same month she won the award for International Model of the Year at the British Fashion Awards, presented to her by Donatella Versace.

Gigi has became a global brand ambassador of Tommy Hilfiger. 

In 2017, Gigi appeared on many magazine envelopes like Vogue (United States, Britain, China and Arabia), Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Harper's Bazaar, LOVE Magazine etc. At New York, Milan and Paris Fashion Week Gigi Hadid opened the shows for Jeremy Scott, Anna Sui, Versus (Versace), Alberta Ferretti, Missoni, H&M and Balmain; and closed the shows for Isabel Marant, Moschino, Max Mara and Anna Sui. She's constantly working with Tommy Hilfiger on their new collections and now she released new retro-chic Vogue eyglasses with 90's vibes. 

To this days, she is still in a happy relationship with a former member of the group One Direction - Zayn Malik. Journalists and others call them one of Hollywood's sweetest pairs. But it's not just her relationship with Zayn Malik, the very discussed topic is her strong friendship with another famous supermodel Kendall Jenner. 

Well, we all hope that her friendships and relationship will last long and we can only wait impatiently until Gigi becomes another face of a new fashion campaign that will be great - as always.
